Louis Vuitton F/W 2010 Yey! For Being Feminine
Fashion Week has just started and the clothes for S/S11 will soon be rolling out but before that I want to blog about a collection from F/W10 that I loved and that's the Louis Vuitton Collection. I've been wanting to write about this for ages!
Marc Jacobs brought back a '50s silhouette that was very feminine and gave emphasis to the waist and chest. I loved the sleek ponytails and the long skirts and gowns and even though I'm a fan of bare legs and shorter skirts I loved how the clothes were sexy without the need for miniskirts. Jacobs also used fuller figured and older models (Elle Mcpherson) in the show. Check out the whole collection here.
Here are a couple of shots from the campaign featuring Christy Turlington, Natalia Vodianova and Karen Elson.

Never Regret Staying In With A Good Book
Don't you just love it when you read a book so satisfying that once you're done you flip to your favorite parts and reread them or you reread the whole thing again! Currently the book that's doing that for me is Mockingjay the final installment in The Hunger Games series. I got my hands on a copy yesterday. I stayed up to read it last night and finished it this morning. Its filled with a lot of edge of you seat moments. I loved it!
Has anyone else read it or any of the books from the series? I really wanna hear your thoughts and wish I could write more about it but I don't want to spoil it for anyone else. :)
Here's a clip of Suzanne Collins reading the first page or so of Mockingjay

What I feel like wearing now

A lot of shades of blue I know, but it does look good. My most recent purchase was a simple tee in a lovely shade of milky blue (like if you had cobalt blue but added white to it) it's a color that I can describe as happy, and it's such a great casual shirt.

The Buried Life
This reality show sounds interesting. Four guy friends made a list of 100 Things To Do Before They Die. They piled into a bus and traveled across the U.S.A. to accomplish their list. For every item they acheive they help someone else go for what they want.
